One level down for day two play at the World Series of Poker Europe presented by Betfair and for some of the players that started the day it is already time to head to the bar. Joe “Ender555″ Ebanks (right) was able to send Daniel Alaie to the sidelines before Danny Wong turned the tables and eliminated Ebanks. Scott “R_a_y” Montgomery was also busted during the first level of play today along with a passel of other players sent home to bring the field down to 150 players after only one level of play.

Things started on a good note for Ebanks who was able to bust Alaie when his pocket nines held up against the AK of Alaie. The two went back and forth raising until finally Daniel went all in for a total of 13k after Ebanks had raised to 5k. Once Joe called the two were in a coinflip that ended badly. Ebanks ended up losing most of his chips in a hand that could have went either way as well. He had pocket tens against Danny Wong on a 7-6-2 flop with two clubs. Danny had the 98 and the chips went in. Danny’s big draw got there and left Ebanks all but out the door.

At the same table with Ebanks and Wong, Barry “barryg1″ Greenstein started the day as the 3rd shortest stack with just under 7k but after two double ups he was up to 35k and in much better position. The first double up didn’t come easy as Greenstein’s J9 had to make a straight to overcome his opponent’s K9. After that double Barry had 17k and when his aces won a pot against tens he jumped up to 35k. He was all in preflop and a ten hit on the flop leaving Barry in bad shape, but running cards for broadway gave him a straight and the pot.

Mohsin “ChicagoCards1″ Charania was also all in with aces involved but he was up against them with his AK. He was able to crack the other players aces though and with that he doubled to 50k and by the end of the level had pushed his stack all the way up to 80k.

Nadeem “Deemer6″ Riaz may be able to get his moneys worth out of this tournament even if he doesn’t cash. Right now he and his 45k worth of chips are seated at the main feature table (pictured left) with Doyle Brunson on one side of him and Phil Hellmuth on the other side… and Antonio Esfandiara across the table. Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar is also at the table, and pining for the chance to bust a short stacked Hellmuth.

Yesterday Annette “Annette_15″ Obrestad spent her day at the main feature table but today she started out in the crowded under the steps area. Before long though the third semi-feature table had been broken and her whole table was moved upstairs to give everyone a little space and provide a chance for the camera crews to take a crack at the Obrestad, Jason “JCarver” Somerville and Brandon Cantu lineup that are all at the same table sitting in a row with Cantu having position on both and Sommerville having Annette then Cantu on his left. So far Annette has been playing it snug, “just folding” as she says but still sitting on a comfortable 51k.

After ending day 1A with a big call to win a big pot and bust Andy Black it is back to business for Christian “charder” Harder today. On a JT4 flop Harder check called a 2,800 chip bet (pictured right) and both players checked the 8 turn. With the 3 on the river Harder led for 5,600 and was able to get paid off when his opponent called and then mucked his cards after seeing Christian’s J8
