The combined field for day 2 play has filled the ballroom area at the Bike to capacity.  The 4 tables in the staging area outside the main room are full and every table inside is being used as well.  The tables will break fast though as the short stacks are pressured by the increasing blinds.  The action starts at 200 / 400 with a 50 ante and 6 complete levels will be played today.

The bottom 30 players all start the day with under 15,000 chips with a handful down in the 5k range.  The 30k starting stacks lead to lots of play throughout the tournament, and even the short stacks aren’t in critical shape relative to the blinds, but to keep up with the ever growing chip stacks around the room they have to start making forward progress early in the day.
