While the rollercoaster ride continues for Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul, the ride almost came to an end for Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg. Jon was all in preflop with pocket kings but had ran into the pocket aces of Dimitri Haskaris. The board came K

K
though and Jon (left) made quads to crack the aces and double up to around 400k.
Quads had just been seen at the same table as Will “The Thrill” Failla doubled through Saul. Gavin Smith had opened the pot for 16k and Kevin called from the small blind. Will then moved in from the big blind for 58,500 more and after Gavin folded Saul made the call leaving himself only 90k behind. Kevin had the K

and was racing against Will’s pocket sevens, but a seven on the flop and another on the turn gave Will the double up and left Saul short again. In the last few hours Kevin has been at 250k then down to 14,400, back up to 515k, down to 200k, back up to 400k and now back down to only 90k and one of the shortest stacks in the room with 34 players remaining.
Daniel Negreanu was one of the recent eliminations.
