Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg wasn’t the absolute bubble boy, but he was close. His elimination in 102nd place left only one more to go before the rest of the field was in the money. Before hand for hand play could begin Chino Rheem was able to eliminate a player and put everyone left in the money. Chino moved all in on the river and the other player thought for minutes.
A crowd gathered around the table as all the other tables were paused to start hand for hand play as soon as Chino’s hand was complete. Finally someone called the clock and the player called off the rest of his chips. Chino showed aces for top full house and was able to rake the mass of chips and end the money bubble.
A dealer was calling “seat open” in the first hand at her table after the money bubble, and is usually the case the all ins are flying now that everyone is in the money.
