The first starting day of the World Poker Finals at the Foxwoods Casino has just started.  The World Poker Tour event will have two starting days, and the final table will be played out on November 11th.

For now, the first group of day 1 players are at the tables with their 30k starting stacks and playing the 50/100 blind level.  Five levels of play (90 minutes each) are scheduled for the day, with no dinner break so play should wrap up around 9pm.

Players noticed in the early goings of a smallish field on day 1A include Adam “A_Junglen” Junglen, Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg, Joe Sebok, Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul and Jason “JP_OSU” Potter.

For now the buzz in the room and the casino is all about yesterday’s election.
