Champions will be crowned this evening in the $1,000 No Limit Hold ‘em “Stimulus”, $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud and $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha events.
P5ers make up almost half of the PLO final table. Kevin “kice32″ Iacofano takes the chip lead into the homestrech, boasting a total of 770,000, and will be joined by Jason “treysfull21″ Mercier (384,400) (pictured at right), Matt “hazards21″ Giannetti (311,000) and Steven “PiKappRaider” Burkholder (263,000). Action will get under way at 2pm local time and we will play until a bracelet and a prize of $237,415 are awarded to the winner.
The $10K Seven Card Stud kicks off at 1pm local time and the 11 remaining players will battle it out until a bracelet is handed out. Daniel Negreanu, Max Pescatori and Greg “FBT” Mueller are three of the players vying for the $373,744 payday.
The $1K NLHE begins at 2 pm and a live feed can be found on ESPN360. Dan Heimiller, who plays as “Lenny” online, is the chip leader with 4,155,000. Steve Sung is close behind with 3,395,000. The winner will take home $771,106 for their efforts.
More than 1,400 players have taken their seats for today’s $1,500 Six-handed No Limit event, which started a little after 12:00. Garrett “GBecks” Beckman , Tim “dandickau” Mina, Justin “lockdownpokah” Allen and Tim “tim0thee” Adams are some of the players we’ve seen so far.
FInally, a $2,500 Pot Limit Hold ‘em event will get underway at 5:00 PT.
