Final 10 Take Their Seats; Kopp, Robbins Exit

A silence fell over the room as Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp played his final hand in the 2009 WSOP Main Event. Kopp raised to 600K from under the gun and Darvin Moon called out of the small blind. Moon checked to Billy on the K
92 flop and Billy fired out a 750K bet which Moon quickly called. The turn paired the board with the {2h] and Moon checked again. Kopp counted out a 1 million and 35K chip bet and Darvin instantly announced he was raising to 6 million total. Kopp thought briefly and moved all-in for his tournament life. Moon leaned back in his chair and let out a sigh before calling and turning up QJ for a queen high flush. Kopp showed 35 for a smaller flush and was drawing dead with one card to come. The inconsequential river made Kopp’s elimination in 12th place official and he headed out the door to collect his $896,730 prize.
The battle is also over for Jamie “TheNew” Robbins. After fighting for the past hour, Robbins moved all in for 2.35 million from late position and Ivey called. Robbins showed K

T and they were off to the races. The 833 flop was dry for Robbins and the Ivey backers grew louder as the dealer peeled over the 3 on the turn. The 5 river ended Jamie’s tournament as the poker pro from San Diego left to collect his $896,730 prize.
