4. Keikoan bet 100k and Shorr called, creating a side pot after Gill threw in his last 12k. The turn was the 2 and Keikoan bet out 350k, prompting Shorr to fold. Keikoan took the side pot and he and Gill went to showdown. Keikoan tabled the A

while Gill held the 86. The river was the 4, missing Gill’s flush draw and he was knocked out in 3rd place winning $228,897. Shorr and Keikoan are now heads up and very close in chips so it should be an interesting match.
Across the room, only a few of the original 36 tables from the $5k shootout are still playing and some big names have risen to the top of the heap and will come back to play tomorrow. Joe Sebok, Leo “Superfluous Man” Wolpert, and Isaac Haxton are just a few of the players who came out victorious today.
Now running in the amazon room is event #12, the $1.5 LHE event, and a large crowd turned out for this seemingly tamer version of Texas Hold ‘Em. Entries totaled 883 which means 81 players will get paid. After 3 hours of play about 60 players have already been eliminated and that number is sure to rise right along with the blinds as the night progresses.
