That was the sentiment of Matt “All In At 420″ Stout as Day 1 of the $1.5K Six-handed NLHE event concluded this evening. David “dpeters18″ Peters sat at Table 10 in the Amazon Room all day and terrorized every player that got in his way.
We first found Peters (pictured at left) getting involved in a hand with Stout. With blinds at 500/1000 and 30 minutes left in Level 10, Peters raised to 2.6K in middle position. Stout reraised 4.6K more on the button and Peters asked for a count. Stout announced that he had 24K more and Peters quickly moved all in. Stout checked his hand, shook his head and tossed his cards into the muck.
One orbit later we caught up with Peters moving all in from the small blind after a player in late position raised to 3K. The player had 14K behind and decided to call with Q
J
, which needed help against the K
J
of Peters. The board ran out T

and Peters continued his climb upward.
On the very next hand, Peters raised to 2.5K on the button and the small blind re-popped it to 6.5K total. Peters reluctantly folded, causing a discouraged Matt Stout to speak up at the other end of the table.
“Why couldn’t you ever do that with me?”
While Table 10 bagged up their chips at the end of the night Stout asked Peters if he had drawn the same table as him for tomorrow. Peters said he will be two tables away, to the dismay of Stout, who was hoping to get some of his chips back.
Players will return tomorrow at 2:00 PT and play down until a final table is set. Here’s a look at who we have going into Day 2 with 105 of the 1,459 players remaining:
David “the9deuce” Squires - 169K
Cody “thugmoneymkr” Slaubaugh - 120.6K

Mark “pghfan987″ Busch - 65.3K
Matt “All In At 420″ Stout - 26.4K

WSOP 2009 Event #10: $2.5K Pot Limit Hold’em/Omaha
With so many online players left in the $2.5K Pot Limit Hold’em/Omaha event is starting to feel more like a frat house…or Panorama Towers for that matter. Online pros are present at nearly every table and many of them are passing the time by chatting away with each other. He may not be a P5er, but Daniel Negreanu is keeping Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul company at their table, where both sit with some sizeable chip stacks. Saul has 64K while Negreanu, who is seated directly to Kevin’s left, sits with a little over 70K.
Tom “titantom32″ Braband was seated with Jeff “yellowsub” Williams when he picked up a sizeable pot after re-potting another player’s river bet in a heads-up pot with the board reading J-5-3-A-4, but the table has since broken. When we ran into Braband at the new table, he said he was making a move on the guy and was glad that it worked and increased his stack up to 21K.
Adam “Roothlus” Levy and Christian “charder30″ Harder (pictured at right) are also sharing a table and Adam managed to flag us down to catch the tail end of a big pot involving his P5s brethren. With the board reading 6

the player under the gun moved all-in for his last 17.3K and Harder, who was in middle position, thought for a while before saying, “I call.” The other player stayed motionless and several people at the table, the dealer included, informed him that Christian called. The other player said, “I know, but I want to see what he had. Harder was then forced to turn over his pocket nines, which weren’t good enough to beat the other player’s A

for rivered trips. Harder, who had around 32K at the start of the hand dropped to about 4K once all was said and done.
Matt “mattg1983″ Graham took a break from arguing with Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar over which forum was better, P5s or some other place that has a name resembeling a math problem, to play a big pot during the Omaha portion of the most recent level. With the blinds at 300/600 two players limped in early position and Graham raised from the button to 2K. The player who limped in under the gun called and the second player, who was fairly short stacked to begin the hand, reraised the pot to 8.5K, essentially committing himself all-in. Matt then potted it once again and the under the gun player had a big decision to make, as he and Graham both had around 30K to start the hand. While he thought, Graham walked over to us and whispered, “I really, really, really, really want him to fold.” Thankfully for Matt, he got his wish and he was heads-up with the short stack. Here is what each player held:

flop didn’t do much to improve Graham’s hand, but the 7

failed to improve his hand though and the other player doubled up while Matt dropped to 10K.
Here are some other chip counts from around the room we saw on our last pass through:
