Matt “plattsburgh” Vengrin didn’t want to be the guy who says, “do you know who I am?”, but he was in a bit of a bind after arriving late in the $1.5K NLHE event. Matt forgot his wallet and his dealer was unforgiving about the mistake and refused to let him play even when players and media members vouched for Vengrin’s identity (we guess Jess just doesn’t have a very honest face). We suggested Matt Google himself to prove to the dealer he was who he said he was, but he said he’d rather wait until they found a floor person so that he didn’t have to be, “that guy.”
Thankfully for Vengrin, the matter was straightened out and he was dealt in just in time to pick up pocket kings in the big blind and take down a pot.
As we scanned the rest of Brasilia and Miranda, we saw several P5ers, including Adam “Roothlus” Levy and his roommate JC “PrtyPSux” Alvarado. We are pleased to report that their apartment did not burn down last night, however Adam did inform us that the fire alarm went off for some unrelated reason at their building at 9AM this morning, so they both elected to roll in a little late and catch some extra sleep.

The HORSE event is down to 19 players and our three ponies who started the day are all still alive and well. Shannon Shorr is up to 370K, Lana Maier of Cardrunners has crossed the 200K mark, and Bryan Micon is not in terrible shape either with 160K.
