As the clock wound down on the last level of the day play was paused and a card was drawn that let everyone know how many hands they had left for the day. Each table played out their last 5 hands before finishing up for the day. Just before the pause to see how many more hands to play Jon “pokertrip” Friedberg was able to win a 3 way all in pot.

Friedberg (right) was all in for his last 21k with the AA against two other players, one with the KK and the other with the AK. The T73 flop was safe for Jon, but with the K on the turn the player with kings took the lead. Jon had the redraw to the flush though and with the 8 on the river Friedberg was able to triple up to around 65k.

Devin “TranquilChaos” Porter was able to win a big pot in the last couple of hands at his table. Porter raised from the button to 1,800 and the big blind reraised to 6,300. On the QJ8 flop it was checked to Porter and he bet 7,500. He was called and the turn was the 4. The action went check check and with the 5 on the river the player from the big blind led out for 16,700. Porter made the call and showed his QQ for top set, though vulnerable to a flush. The other player mucked and Devin was able to pick up the pot and build his stack to over 135k as his table finished up play.
