Day 3 Starts, Randers Doubles by Court on 11.08.08, 1:48 pm

The start of day 3 a the Foxwoods World Poker Finals has seen a fair share of bust outs right out of the gate.  With only 91 players starting the day and the top 50 making the money the bubble is not far off.  Randy “Randers” Haddox was one of the short stacks to start the day, but he was able to get lucky and double up.

Randy moved all in preflop after Daniel Negreanu limped from the small blind and Daniel called.  Randy had run into a big hand and his Q5 was up against Negreanu’s AK.  Haddox flopped a 5 to take the lead, Negreanu turned a king to take it back, and a queen on the river ended up giving Haddox the pot and doubling him to around 100k.

A mass of other players have not been so lucky.  Anna Wroblewski, Victor Ramdin, and Allen Kessler have all been seen making their exits in the first part of day 3.
