With less than an hour left in Level 5, play has slowed significantly, which doesn’t bode well for tomorrow. You see, the event’s schedule says that play will continue tomorrow until only 36 players are left. With just under 200 players still left in the field, that means tomorrow is going to be a LONG day. The tournament staff suggested to the players that they stay for one more level today, but several players opposed the idea, so play will end for the day at the conclusion of Level 5. The Beau Rivage staff is not giving up hope just yet and continue to negotiate with the players in an attempt to avoid a very, very late night tomorrow.
Though play has slowed, that doesn’t mean some players aren’t still making moves up the chip counts. Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire continues to thrive and Richard “Lee Nickel” Fohrenbach (pictured right), who is holding strong at 40K, has recently been moved to his table.
Jamie “TheCronic420″ Rosen appeared to be in good shape to pick up a big pot and bust someone when he picked up Q
Q
and another player moved all-in. Howeverm his opponent revealed Q
Q
and the two ended up chopping the pot for a minimal profit. Rosen is still in great shape with nearly 55K in chips.
Barry “barryg1″ Greenstein is also sitting pretty as play winds down. He padded his stack a little more when Allen “The Chainsaw” Kessler raised to 1200 from middle position with the blinds at 200/400 ante 50 and Greenstein called from late position. The flop came T

and Kessler bet 2,200. Greenstein quickly raised to 5K total and The Chainsaw just as quickly tossed his cards into the muck. After the hand, Barry’s stack was up to 68K.
