It has been a day or two. Shouldn’t one of our guys have won P5s’ eighth bracelet by now? Sorry if we’re being greedy, we’ve just grown accustomed to getting to celebrate an amazing P5s victory once every other day or so. Thankfully, we’ve got a couple ofP5s final table and bracelet possibilities brewing today.
First, we’ve got Event #24, the $1.5K that started Thursday. The nineteen runners left in the field are headed up by chipleader Andy “BKiCe” Seth and we also still have Glenn “TheGFactor” McCaffery still in the running as well. That will restart at 1PM and play down to a winner.
We’ve also got two runners in the final day of the $2.5K Omaha and Stud H/L event. Jon “PearlJammer” Turner appears to be leading the pack in terms of chips and Blair Rodman is still kicking around in this one as well.
Events returning for their second day of play today include the $1.5K LHE event which will restart at 2PM as will the $5K PLO H/L event. We’ve got several P5ers in each event and will be sure to update you on their progress throughout the afternoon.
Last, but certainly not least, there are two new events on the agenda today: First up at 12PM is the weekend $1.5K NLHE. We’ve already seen Ana “nyx86″ Marquez, Mike “SowersUNCC” Sowers, David “The Maven” Chicotsky, Joe “Dyzalot” Morneau, Brian “Like7″ Lamanna, and Grant “drossxyu” Hinkle and are sure we’ll bump into several others once we make a thorough lap through the Rio Convention Center. Later at 5PM, the $10K Heads-Up NLHE event gets underway. We’ll expect to see several P5ers in that tough field including Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania, Tim “tim0thee” Adams, and Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar.
