Jesse “JMaster30″ Cohen (pictured at left) has bust from the $1.5K PLO Hi-Low event. We arrived at his table just in time to hear him wishing the rest of his table good luck, but he filled us in on the details later.

Cohen said he made a pot-sized raise to 15K on the button with A-Q-6-3 and the big blind re-raised. He called all in and the big blind turned over A-7-5-4. The board came J-8-5-3-J and Cohen was eliminated.

Trevor “DenYoungGun” Reader took a big hit to his stack when is AT82 couldn’t be an opponent’s ATT4 in an all-in pre-flop pot. The board came QQ244 and Reader was left with just about 15K.

At last check, though, Reader was still alive with 50 players remaining as was Aaron “gotcha55″ Kanter.

WSOP EVENT #49: $50K HORSE

Steve “MrSmokey1″ Billirakis (pictured at right) has once again been collecting chips while playing a stud game in the $50K HORSE event. This time the limits were 1.2K/2.4K and the game was Stud Hi-Low and Billirakis was facing off against Greg Raymer and Jerry Buss. The boards:

Fourth street: Billirakis bet, Buss called, Raymer called
Fifth street: Billirakis bet, Buss called, Raymer called

Billirakis turned over 22J for a full house, deuces full of jacks while Buss tabled 34Q for two pair and a missed low draw.

Barry Greenstein, who has been on break from his $2.5K Mixed Hold’em final table, stopped by his seat in the HORSE event to play a few hands.

WSOP EVENT #50: $1.5K LHE SHOOTOUT

The $1.5K limit hold’em shootout event is just getting started over in the Brasillia Room. The number of entrants has been capped at 640, meaning there are 64 tables in play today. The winner of each table will make the money and return tomorrow for round two.
