Of the 54 players that made it to the dinner break, 9 will go home empty handed. Clayton “Clayton_27″ Newman (right) was one of the unfortunate nine, eliminated in 50th place just 5 spots short of the money. Clayton moved in for 40k with pocket tens and ran into aces to come up just short of cashing.
Others have seen their stacks grow as they are able to take advantage of bubble play. Faraz “The-toilet” Jaka is up to almost 400k, and Tyler “Brainwash” Cornell has quietly amassed a 350k stack while Vivek “Psyduck” Rajkumar is back to 300k. Joe Sebok, at the same table with Cornell, is also doing well, up to 270k in chips at last check. Mohsin “ChicagoCards1″ Charania and Marco “CrazyMarco” Johnson are a little shorter, both just over the 100k mark, but with the blinds at 1,200 / 2,400 and a 400 ante they still have plenty of room to work.
Play has slowed a bit with 49 players remaining, everyone taking their time to make decisions and trying to avoid making a mistake that could put them out of the tourney on the bubble.
