The Chronicles of Charania by Jessica on 01.15.09, 3:58 pm

Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania (pictured left) picked up right where he left off yesterday and doubled up within the first 20 minutes of play today when he rivered a flush and his opponent called his all-in on a king high board with pocket jacks.  That hand vaulted him up to 120K in chips and puts him towards the top of the chip counts.

Scott “Big Riskky” Clements was also in a cheerful mood as his tough table draw mentioned in the last post was one of the first to break.  His new table isn’t much better though, as it boasts both Gavin Smith and one of the current chip leaders, Hevad “Rain” Khan.  On the bright side, Clements has position on both of them.

Stu “thedonator” Paterson made a quick exit early today when his AT failed to hold against his opponent’s A7 after they got it all-in on a flop of A84.  The turn came K and the 7 on the river gave the other player two pair and sent Paterson to the rail.  Other recent eliminations include last year’s Beau Rivage champion, Bill Edler.
