Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania’s (pictured right) aggressive play came to a screeching halt when he raised to 43K from middle position with the blinds at 8K/16K ante 2K, Justin Phillips called on the button, and Soheil Shamseddin completed from the big blind.  Shamseddin checked the A92 flop and Mohsin bets 75K.  Phillips folded and Shamseddin thought for a bit before moving all-in.  Charania quickly called with A9 for top two pair.  Soheil showed 22 for bottom set.  Mohsin was drawing slim and when the turn and river came 8 then 7 he was eliminated in 15th place for $21,098.

Over at the other table the preflop aggression continued and Vanessa Rousso and Hevad Khan clashed once again when Khan opened to 39K from under the gun and it folded around to Rousso, who called from the small blind.  The flop came Q96 and Rousso checked.  Hevad bet 35K and Vanessa instantly moved all-in and had Khan covered.  Khan folded and dropped down to 168K.

Shortly before Level 15 came to a close, Khan moved all-in from the cutoff for his remaining 156K and the player in the small blind called with A-10, which was ahead of Khan’s Q7.  The board was no help to Hevad and he was eliminated in 14th place for $21,098.

Allen “AawwNutz” Carter (pictured left) took a small hit to his chip stack when he raised to 41K from middle position and the other big stack at the table, Soheil Shamseddin, called from the button.  Both players checked the KQ6 flop, but Carter bet out 70K after the 7 fell on the turn.

“You bet the flop I go away, ” Shamseddin informed Carter.  He counted out a stack of chips and joked, “just in case” as he tossed them in the pot to make the call.  The river came 3 and  Carter fired 80K, which Shamseddin quickly called.  Allen turned over 23 for a rivered pair of threes and Shamseddin’s AQ was good enough to win the pot.

Shortly after that, Carter and Justin Phillips got it all-in preflop in a blind versus blind confrontation with Carter holding A-8 to Phillip’s A-Q.  The A-Q held and Justin doubled up to 600K while Carter dropped down to just over 1 million chips.
