Earlier in the day Mohsin “chicagocards1″ Charania (right) took a hit to his stack in a 3 way pot where Luke “IWEARGOGGLES” Staudenmaier flopped a set of nines. Charania was able to get the lost chips back and then some though in a later pot with Luke. Luke raised to 4,500 and Mohsin made it 18,700. Another player called all in for less than Charania’s bet and after thinking for a brief moment Luke also moved all in covering Charania. Mohsin called and showed his Q

while Luke said he had ace king and showed the A
K
. “Oh no” Luke said when the other player in the pot turned over his hand to show the A
K
and kill some of Staudenmaier’s outs.
The board came J

and Charania was able to more than double up and eliminate a player while taking a chunk out of Luke’s hefty stack. Staudenmaier had around 140k left after he counted out the 98,600 he had to send over to Charania to pay him off.
In a pot with lots of preflop action, Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul was put to a decision. On the J

flop the other player bet 17,500 and Kevin raised to 42,500. The other player then moved all in for 76k more and Kevin went into the tank. While he was thinking Amit “Amak316″ Makhija stepped back from the table and said he would bet even money that the all in player had pocket jacks for top set. Kevin hemmed and hawed long enough for me to end up taking the bet with Amit, and after Kevin folded the other player showed the J

to cost me $100 and make Kevin feel good about his fold.
The field has dropped below 200 players and everyone is now located within the Fontana Lounge. Michael “Martine23″ Martin and Vivek “Psyduck” Rajkumar (left) were both seen leaving the tournament area recently, marking their elimination from the tournament.
