Three of the five levels on the schedule for day 1 at the Festa al Lago are in the books. So far 237 players have paid the $15k entry fee and have chips in play in the tournament, minus the handful of eliminations. The blinds for the fourth level of play will be 200 / 400 with a 25 ante and could induce some larger pots, though the blinds are still applying relatively little pressure to the players.
A few players have cracked the 100k mark and considerable more have added around 50% to their stack and are up around 90k chips. Matt “Mattg1983″ Graham looks to be the early leader in the tournament with around 125k chips, but with so many chips in play it is very possible for a pile of significantly larger stacks to emerge by the end of play today.
Below are some rough chip counts from around the room as players head into the 4th level of play.
