No Bracelet for van den Bijgaary

Joep “Pappe_Ruk” van den Bijgaary’s quest for a bracelet came to an end when he was busted by a fellow Dutchman; Marc Naalden. Joep will not return home to the Netherlands empty handed, he receives $18,136 (about €12,876) for his efforts.
With the elimination of van den Bijgaary in 7th place there are just six players left at the LHE Shootout final table. Matt “mattster24″ Sterling is currently the short stack with 275K while Greg “FBT” Mueller is the chip leader with almost one million chips. The players are on a 90-minute dinner break and will resume play around 8:45PM PT.

WSOP 2009 EVENT #49 $50K HORSE
Jon “PearlJammer” Turner was done in by fellow P5er Scott “BigRiskky” Clements. During a round of Stud 8 the two got it all in on an early street and we rushed over to the table to grab the hands. All we could scribble down is that Turner had a pair of jacks and no low going into seventh street and that Clements had A-2-3-4-6-Q. Scott flipped his down card as soon as it was dealt and it was a five giving him the wheel and the nut-low. Jon could not beat a straight, wrapped the table and wished the players good luck.
