Billy “Patrolman35″ Kopp’s Day Six hot streak continues. After opening four consecutive pots for a raise, Kopp raised to 105K from late position with the blinds at 20K/40K ante 5K. Dennis Phillips called behind him and 2008 Main Event Champion Peter Eastagate reraised all-in from the small blind for an additional 340K. Kopp called as did Phillips. Both Dennis and Billy checked it down as the board ran out A

and Eastgate showed A

for top two pair. Kopp revealed 8

for a rivered flush and Phillips mucked. Eastgate was eliminated in 79th place and Kopp chipped up to nearly seven million chips.
On the last hand before break, Clayton “clayton27″ Newman and Frank “Round42″ Rusnak clashed in a pot that would spell elimination for one of them. Newman opened for an 80K raise with the blinds at 15K/30K ante 4K and Rusnak and another player called. The Q

flop prompted Newman to bet 175K and Frank called while the other player folded. The turn was the 4
and Newman elected to move all-in having Rusnak’s 650K stack covered by a couple hundred thousand chips. Frank went into the tank for a couple of minutes before calling for his tournament life with A
T
for second pair, ace kicker. Clayton showed Q

for top pair and a flush draw, which held as the river fell 7
to knock Rusnak out in 82nd place. Now Newman is sitting on around 2.4 million after starting the day with less than 250K.
It didn’t take long after play resumed for a couple more P5ers to join Rusnak on the rail. First, Matt “mcmatto” Affleck’s A-7 ran into the A-Q of Nick “fu_15″ Maimone to eliminate him in 81st place and push Maimone up over 4 million chips.
We’re are also sad to report that Owen “ocrowe” Crowe’s impressive deep run for a second straight year has come to an end. Faced with an all-in bet by a player that had him covered, Crowe tanked for a few minutes before making the call with Q

and found himself in a race situation against the player’s A

. Things looked grim right from the start as the K
came in the door, and the rest of the board ran out 9

to eliminate Crowe in 79th place for $68,979. He took 15th place last year for $463,201.
