After Jon Jaffe held the chip lead for the first part of play, Jonathan “FieryJustice” Little jumped to the top by eliminating a couple players and picking up a lot of pots. Once play got down to 3 handed, Little had a 1.5 million chip lead on Jaffe, but the two played a large pot and Jaffe was able to leapfrog over Little and back to the top of the chip counts.
With the blinds at 30k / 60k and a 5k ante Jaffe (left) opened from the button for 150k and Little raised to 530k. Jaffe called and the flop came 8

. Little led out for 600k and Jaffe again made the call. With the 5
on the turn the action went check check to the K
turn. Little checked to Jaffe who bet 1.3 million and after a few moments of deliberation Little quietly said “call.” Jaffe showed the 7

for a straight and drew a roar from his fan section upon seeing both his speculative holding preflop and their guy winning the pot when Little mucked his hand.
Jaffe couldn’t help a broad smile as he stacked the chips. His stack is now up to 6.3 million while Little has dropped to 3.5 million and Charles Marchese remains the short stack with 2.5 million.
