The Bellagio schedule has become something of a standard in the poker world. Tournaments at the Bellagio start at noon and the players play only 5 levels with 15 minute breaks in between. There is no dinner break and play finishes up before 9pm. Players like the shorter days and earlier finishes and until the later days of the tournament there is no need to adjust the schedule.
For Day 1a, the five levels of play are almost complete. Players are still located across the Bellagio with the majority of players being in the Fontana Lounge, while a few tables of players are still located in the main poker room.
The board shows 340 registered players, though that number does include everyone already signed up to play tomorrow.
Once the 300 / 600 blind level with a 75 ante is complete the players will bag up their chips and be done for the night. Everyone that played today will get tomorrow off while the second group of day 1 players fill the tables tomorrow.
