Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul, who showed up with a new mohawk today, has seen his starting 88K stack dwindle since the get-go. It recently slipped to 20K after a preflop confrontation against the player in Seat 9 at his table. With the blinds at 300/600 Saul raised to 1.6K from early positon, the player in the hijack called and Seat 9, on the button, raised to 4.2K (with 22K behind). Saul went into the tank and began fishing for info. “If we both fold will you show?” he asked his opponent, who simply smiled back. After two minutes Saul moved all in, having the 3-bettor covered. The other player folded and Seat 9 snap-called:

Casey “sobizzle21″ Sobczewski’s stack is hovering above the 25K mark after doubling through an opponent. Sobczewski moved all in preflop with QQ and was called by a player with TT. The A327x board was no help to his opponent and Casey is back in business with 30 big blinds.
We bumped into Cliff “JohnnyBax” Josephy at his table over in Miranda. Josephy was involved in a big pot when Amnon Fillipi opened to 1.7K, the player to his left raised to 4.5K and Cliff put in a cold four-bet to 13.5K. Action folded to Fillipi who shrugged before mucking and the player to his put in a fifth bet to 29.5K. Josephy moved all in for 45.7K more and after some thought his opponent nodded and folded KK face up.
“Good lay down,” Bax told him.
