Trevor “DenYoungGun” Reader and Aaron “gotcha55″ Kanter were eliminated from the $1.5K PLO Hi/Lo on back-to-back hands. Both came by way of Brandon Cantu, who seems to be destroying the field single-handedly today.
Cantu eliminated Reader and Kanter in 48th and 47th place, respectively, and is now sitting behind 525K in chips. The next highest count in the tournament is a little more than 200K. Frankly we haven’t seen anything like it this year.
Reader, who had Chris “SKOAL” Falconer on his rail for much of the day, earned $3,941 for his two days of work. While it wasn’t the biggest career cash for the Omaha specialist it was the first for him ever at the WSOP, making for an experience he’ll always remember.
The remaining 36 players are on a dinner break until 7:40 p.m. Unfortunately there are no P5ers (that we’re aware of)left in the field.
WSOP 2009 Event #47: $2.5K Mixed Hold ‘em
Barry “barryg1″ Greenstein’s hot streak at the final table of Event #47 proved to be short lived. Once over a million chips, Greenstein lost a few key pots during the limit rounds to Ylon Schwartz and was unable to recover before having to call off his remaining chips with 8

. Schwartz’s pocket queens held up and Greenstein quickly rushed over to his seat at the $50K HORSE tournament across the room. He earned $57,671 for his fifth-place finish.
