Ran Azor (right) was able to get a double up with his pocket kings against the pocket deuces of Yevgeniy “Atimos” Timoshenko, but to have any shot at winning Azor is going to have to change his style. So far he has been willing to let Timoshenko slowly bleed away his chips without being willing to get it all in and give himself a shot to double up.
Before the all in with kings Azor had been down to just under 3 million chips while Timoshenko had ten times that amount with almost 31 million. Even after the double up Azor is still short stacked and if he continues to allow Timoshenko to pilfer the 150k / 300k blinds it won’t be long before he is back down to around 10 big blinds again. The two have played around 70 hands of heads up play so far, with Timoshenko raking in a majority of the pots with preflop raises.
