Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar is playing at the same table as Steve “gboro780” Gross in the $1K Hold ‘em Stimulus event and both prospered in Level 7. Aguiar raised to 750 before the flop with the blinds at 150/300 and a 25 chip ante and was reraised to 2750 by the player in seat one. Aguiar thought for a while before announcing all in, and his opponent called quickly. Aguiar revealed Q
8
and the other player tabled 7

.
Aguiar found help on the A
Q
Q
flop, and the board ran out J
T
. He won about 10K in the pot and is up to 22.5K.
Apparently the player to Aguiar’s left thinks he has been running good lately because he had plenty to say after the hand. “I’d like to shove it in with garbage and just win…twice in a row,” he said, and later he called Aguiar “Jamie Gold the second.”
Gross busted another player a few hands later. He raised to 750 before the flop and another player shoved all in. Gross didn’t waste much time calling the short stack with his Q
T
, but he was dominated by his opponent’s A
T
. But a queen on the flop and another on the turn gave Gross the pot. He told us he was up to about 30K after the hand.
To make things a little more interesting, Chris Ferguson just joined the same table.
We missed Josh “jdbunchOSU” Bunch’s bustout hand from earlier in the day but we recently caught up with him in the hallway and he gave us the unpleasant news. With the blinds at 100/200, the button raised and Bunch called from the big blind with pocket kings. The flop was gin for Bunch: K-7-6 rainbow. Bunch and his opponent quickly got it all in, with Josh up against pocket aces, but an ace spiked on the turn and he was eliminated from the $1K Stimulus Event.
Justin “jbecks” Beckman just busted a player on an outer table in the Amazon Room. Beckman’s opponent shoved from late position, and Beckman made the call with 66. His opponent rolled over QJ off, and the flop came 8 high. Beckman sweated a 9 on the turn, but the river blanked, eliminating his opponent. Beckman raked in the pot, and he is now above 12K in chips.

Chris “SKOAL” Falconer informed us that he busted in 84th place in the $1500 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better event. Falconer held Q

in the big blind. A player under the gun raised and met two callers before Falconer shipped his stack all in. All three players called and checked down to the river. The board read Q
Qx8×7
T
, and Falconer held a flush. He was eliminated though, when one opponent rolled over the nut flush. Falconer earned $2,782.
Brock “t_soprano” Parker has moved back to a table with fellow p5er Annie Duke and the two have 41K and 50K stacks respectively. Sixty-three players remain in the event.
