Jeff “yellowsub” Williams, Darryll “DFish” Fish and Moshin “chicagocards1″ Charania were among those eliminated before the money bubble in the $5K Six-handed NLHE event. There are 101 players remaining with the top 90 receiving a minimum of $9,159.
Williams moved all in prefop with A-J from the small blind and got looked up by the big blind, who tabled pocket fives. The small pair held up, leaving Williams with 5k at 1K/2k. He moved all in preflop on the next hand with T

and ran head first into the pocket queens of Steve “thorladen” Weinstein. The queens stayed best and Williams was sent home.
Shaun Deeb took Williams’ seat at that table and listened in while Weinstein and Alex “EC10″ Venovski chatted about their online identies. Weinstein soon found out that he and Venovski had played many times in ring games (mostly $10/20) on PokerStars. Meanwhile, Deeb is all smiles after building his stack to 275K in just two hours after starting play with 114K. Some of those chips came from Charania (pictured below) at the end of Level 11. Deeb raised to 4.1K at 800/1600 and Charania moved in for his last 29.6K. Deeb snap called with A-Q and Charania flipped over pocket kings. An ace appreared on the flop and Charania couldn’t improve to walk away from the tournament empty handed.
Lex “RaSZi” Velduis sent a message to his table a few moments ago. Veldhuis opened to 6.3K from the button and a player in the small blind three-bet to 17K. The big blind folded and Lex leaned forward to examine his opponent’s stack. Veldhuis proceed to grab enough orange 5K chips to put his opponent all in and fire them into the pot. The player in the small blind folded and Lex tabled T

. Veldhuis is in control and pushing 300K in chips.
As players returned from their first 20-minute break the tournament official announced that play will go hand-for-hand once we reach 91 players. We’ll have plenty of bubble updates and chip counts for you in the next hour. In the meantime, here are a few we grabbed off twitter:
Shaun Deeb - 275K
Brent “Astrolux85″ Roberts - 265K
Shannon Shorr - 181.7K
Craig “craigthedeac” Boyd - 180K
Lee “acumen53″ Childs - 85K
WSOP 2009 EVENT #54 $1.5K NLHE
Vivek “psyduck” Rajkumar suffered a sluggish start on Day 3 of Event #54. He took a hit when he doubled up an opponent and lost a few other pots as well. Vivek’s stint on Day 3 has come to after pushing all in with a short stack. Rajkumar held J
T
and his opponent was way ahead with Q
Q
. Vivek could catch up and was eliminated in 15th place earning $40,350.
