Down To 11: Festa al Lago Day 4 Complete

Another day at the Festa al Lago World Poker Tour event is in the books. The last level of play saw a drastic reduction in the pace of eliminations with Steve Brecher being the only person to fall out of the tournament during the last hour and a half of play. Brecher finished in 12th place when his pocket nines lost an all in preflop race against the KQ of Jason Burt. In brutal fashion the 9 that hit to make a set for Brecher also made a straight for Burt and eliminated Brecher. Steve earns $47,710 for his finish.
The last level of the day wasn’t quit as good for Jason “StatusUp” Lavallee (right) as the previous few had been but he will still come back tomorrow with a healthy lead as the field returns to play down to the final 6. Freddy Deeb, Kido Pham, Tommy Vedes and Aaron Jones are among the others coming back to the playdown day tomorrow with hopes of a final table appearance.
